Our name is a reflection of our deepest belief.
Sо̄ma (σῶма)
The ancient Greek word for 'body,' Sо̄ma is your direct well-being and vitality. It is deeply influenced by the purity of everything you interact with. This includes the spaces you inhabit, the textiles you touch, the food you eat, and the products you put on your skin.
Oikos (οἶκος)
The ancient Greek word for 'home,' Oikos is the physical environment that surrounds and protects your family. It is not a passive backdrop, but a powerful mirror that reflects your inner state and shapes your daily experience.

The Curator’s Philosophy

My path to Sōma & Oikos began with a realization. I was trying to heal my body in an environment that was biologically working against me.
For years, I operated as a high-performer by optimizing nutrition, movement, and mindfulness. I then discovered that the home industry was largely unregulated. "Luxury" often meant little more than a higher price tag on the same toxic materials. I realized that a visually beautiful room is worthless if it burdens your system with off-gassing and synthetic chemicals.
I founded this studio to be the filter the industry doesn't provide. I am not a decorator. I am a Curator.
At Sōma & Oikos, we apply a data-driven audit to everything that enters your home, from the furniture and finishes to the everyday products that touch your skin. Our role is to bridge the gap between refined aesthetics and rigorous safety so high-performing clients can stop researching and start resting.
Based in the Greater Toronto Area, we offer Turnkey Service for local clients and Virtual Curation Blueprints for clients across Canada.
